Gunsgreen House is located in Eyemouth, a fishing town located on the far South-East coast of Scotland. We are 49 miles south of Edinburgh, and 9 miles north of Berwick-upon-Tweed in England and 73 miles from Newcastle.

If you are using a SatNav to find us, please enter this postcode: TD14 5DZ, if you use our postal address postcode you end up on the Harbour side with no access to our carpark. (The Map below has a direction finder).

By car, Gunsgreen House has a car park a few metres from the house, which is free of charge. Driving into Eyemouth from the A1 take the A1107 into Eyemouth and at the roundabout pass the High School on your right, taking the first exit towards the town. When you see the Brown Heritage sign, take a right turn onto ‘The Avenue’ you will see the Gunsgreen House sign set back on the grass. Continue straight along this road until you see the house, then take a left down onto the car park.

By foot, Gunsgreen House is easily accessible from Eyemouth town centre, simply walk along the ‘Middle Pier’ and over the little red bridge and you will be at the house. There are signs around town to make this easier for you. During the Red Bridge replacement which is scheduled to take place May June time there will be diversion signs for the footpath clearly set out.  This will add just a few minutes to the walk.

By Bus you need the 235 from Berwick-upon-Tweed you can use this link to check times and prices.
